Polychrome the Rainbow's Daughter was a character in the Dorothy Must Die series. Polychrome is a fairy princess who lives in Rainbow Falls with her pet 'unicorn' Heathcliff. Dating a tall good looking guy named Bright who was hitting on Amy Gumm in The Wicked will Rise.
In a heated battle in the second book, she unfortunately dies because of Glinda. Bright kisses her and she turns into a rainbow
Also known as a cloud fairy, therefore a "Sky Princess" in The Road to Oz (1904), which is the fifth book of the original fourteen Oz books by American author L. Frank Baum. She later appears several times in later Oz stories of the classical series.
